Musical Journeys: A Day at the Pond / Mausam is our brand new, multi-part digital resource for early years featuring music and dance from the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) and South Asian Arts-uk (SAA-uk), narrated by Seetal Kaur.
Taking youngsters through a day in the life of a pond, it features a wealth of song and dance to engage under-5s with music. It introduces musical themes and concepts through four bitesize films, which prepare the young audience for a final celebration performance: Rain, with a new composition written especially for these musicians. It is accompanied by an illustrated resource to guide teachers/practitioners/parents and carers through the material, and has extension activities to explore themes in even more detail.
The full resource costs just £30 per setting. If you’d like to be the first to experience it, simply pre-register your interest here. And if you’re based within North Yorkshire itself, we’re pleased to say we can also offer you a special promotional code, which we’ll email to you when you register your interest. If you wish to purchase multiple copies, please do contact us to arrange a bespoke rate for your settings.
